Key Responsibilities:
Creative Problem-Solving: You will be addressing challenges related to building processes in space, in this way actively contributing to the creation of innovative solutions. As a Building Technologist, you will need to think outside the box and design for the challenges posed by extraterrestrial environments.
Building Technology: You are tasked with designing innovative techniques and applying them to building technology, manufacturing, and 3D-printing applications.
General Building Technology & Software Proficiency: Besides contributing to the team with your holistic understanding of building processes, you will also spend a lot of time working with regular architecture concepts and tasks. You will contribute creative insights and technical expertise to elevate the overall space architecture vision for the design. Utilize Adobe software for design tasks with valued proficiency in Rhino and Grasshopper and apply digital design tools to enhance the visualization and prototyping processes.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Serve as a bridge between the architecture and engineering departments, leveraging knowledge in both fields. Provide valuable advice within the architecture department, enriching our project with an architecture engineering perspective.
Meeting Attendance: Attend weekly department meetings to discuss progress, concepts, challenges, and innovations within the architecture team to ensure a final integrated design.
